‘How to’ guide for acoustic felt
Would you like to know a way to acoustically optimise your room? We have eight extraordinary ideas for you on how to use our felts in your home all whilst creating a modern look.
Eight creative ideas with acoustic felt
An ‘acoustic’ stool with storage space
A stool with acoustic felt not only absorbs sound in the bathroom - it can be used in many ways: you can always store dirty laundry or clean towels inside it. It can also be used as a seat whilst bathing a baby. With our variety of colours, you can coordinate it with the rest of the furnishings in your bathroom. This natural white stool blends in beautifully.
Such accessories can easily find a cosy spot by the fireplace. Your stool can also be used as a storage space for blankets, to create even more feel-good moments during special occasions. Natural white and anthracite can also blend in well with the rest of the interior.
Acoustic felts can also serve as decorative pictures. Especially in offices where neutral objects are preferred, the felts can provide variety. The colours can be selected and arranged individually and provide a splash of colour in the room.
Hanging partitions in the open-plan office
Open-plan offices are widespread nowadays because they promote communication and creativity among employees. However, privacy should not be neglected to be able to work undisturbed. For this purpose, you can, for example, build a partition wall with our felt. This allows for privacy, but also prevents loud office noise.
A coloured pinboard in the office creates space for ideas and important events, so that you always have an overview. Acoustic pinboards are easy to set up and are available in different colours. Not only do you create a modern office look, but you also ensure an undisturbed working day for your employees.
Ceiling panel with lighting
Acoustic felts wallpapered on ceilings are a clever solution for seminar rooms or even restaurants. In this example, LED lighting has been integrated into the ceiling element, which shows off the acoustic felt to even greater advantage and makes for an individual ceiling light of a special kind.

Acoustic felts don't always have to hang or separate spaces, they can also be used to line cabinets. The grey felt adds that extra touch to this custom-made wardrobe, whilst reducing sound and noise at the same time.

Suspended luminaires in themselves can lend a room a special effect. A creative idea of processing is the sheathing with colourful acoustic felts. This way, the luminaires not only look chic but the felt also serves as sound absorption, thus providing the luminaire with a clever dual function.
Creative felt shapes in the office corridor
If you don't want a full-surface felt wall but are still looking for an idea to optimise acoustics, you might find what you're looking for here: for a little variety, our acoustic felts can be cut to size as desired. For example, in wavy shapes, as in the picture below. It's sure to make walking through the hallway a pleasure.
