efko is the most important producer of sour vegetables in Austria. Quality, sustainability and regionality are top priorities for the Eferding-based delicacies producer. Not only in food production, but also in everyday work.
The spacious office premises of the efko company in Eferding extend over 2,500 m². The workspace, which was inspected by architect Norbert Bruckner in 2017, is spread over two floors. His goal: improve the room acoustics.
For this purpose, green acoustic felt is produced in a special production to match the overall appearance of the efko brand.
This is processed into panels in cooperation with the Pecherstorfer joinery and impressively laminated onto boxes. In this way, the felt not only improves the sound in the room, but also skilfully sets colour accents in a friendly, bright office environment.
Naturalness takes centre stage in these rooms and the use of wood and glass together with the sustainable, healthy wool felt creates a cosy ambience.
It's not for nothing that efko's credo is: "We implement sustainability instead of just talking about it."
